Chris Crichtons with Yaramee Fletcher(Fletcher).

I live in the inner city and have a professional role a multi national company.
I have played many competitive sports over the years including tennis, squash and windsurfing just to name a few.

My passion is horse riding (dressage) and love to keep in shape and fit by training at the gym 5 days a week.

I took up horse riding later on in live and initially entered the show scene. I have owned 2 show horses in the past and have now found the light and entered the dressage scene.

My first dressage horse was a Prix St George Thoroughbred schoolmaster.

I now own a AEA horse named Fletcher who is by Flemmingh who is a striking and big moving 17hh chestnut gelding.

He is a gentleman to ride, but full of personality with childish bevaviours on the ground.
I am training with Charlotte Pedersen and working towards competing on him in early 2011.

Setsuko Mike with Don Armani (ralphy)

I came to Hill Cottage, with my horses 4 years ago.

The stables provide a complete service, and Charlotte is the best coach, I have had in twenty years of training.

In the near future,I would like to compete in Australian CDI event on Don Armani(by Donnerheist),wearing the Japanese logo.

Vivian Moroney with Leo

Leo came into my life in September 2006.  At the time I was just getting over thyroid cancer and Leo formed a major part of my get well therapy.

Leo is what I have called my “homemade” warmblood as he is by a Percheron stallion out of a thoroughbred mare.

Leo proved to have a fantastic trainable temperament and with the assistance of Charlotte and Kylie, he has come much further in his education than any of us thought possible when he arrived.

Unfortunately this wonderful work ethic under saddle, does not always extend into his handling on the ground, where he is deservedly often described as “grumpy”.

You can see in the photo that there is a bandage on my left index finger, where he bit off  and - we think – ate my finger tip; and this despite receiving five meals a day, with all vitamins and supplements!

Ailish Hill

Ailish has been at Hill Cottage, for the last 3 years. She is now the manager, and run Hill Cottage,When Charlotte is away.

Ailish has a Degree in Animal Science and Management, from Melbourne Uni.She has been riding ,since she was 14 y.o ,and attended ponyclub,as a teenager.

Ailish is currently completing her NCAS level 1 Coaching course.Specialising in young horses, and teaching nervous riders.Spent 3 month oversea,in Denmark , training dressage at Priess- stud in Denmark.
