Saddleworld Dressage Festival Dec 1The Hill Cottage Dressage Stable,had a great weekend at The Saddleworld Dressage Festival. The US Para Equestrian Team,competing in the cdi***,borrowed 2 horses from the stable. Don Armani owned by Setsuko Miike, and Southern Cross Tamarisk,owned by Adele Plumrigde. The US team blitzed the competition, winning all there classes. Congratulation. Charlotte and Dunkerque also competed,and went very well in Int 11,but he decided,that he had enough,in the GP,so they retired. Congratulation also to Jenny Hewitt and Rimini Park Wurtzlitzer,who won the PSG,and to Beth Schroen and Riedel,who placed in the Para Equetrian. Photos and report to come Photo's on (facebook)
Friday 21 Oct Charlotte, Julie and Quirky went to Boneo Park, for a tune up, with Lone Joergensen, before The Nationals. Quirky went really well,and it was a great lesson. Unfortunately Quirky got a cough the next,so we got the vet. He did a bloodtest and it showed that Quirky had a virus. So that is the end of The National for us, very disappointing for all of us. Now we have to get Quirky to recover,and then its on to The Dressage Festival.
The hill cottage team went to Boneo on the weekend. Saxon had a good weekend (4th in both novice tests and 4th in one elementary) Quirky did a good grand prix test showing great improvement and that all Charlottes hard work is starting to ...pay off. (but didnt get the scores that anyone expected ) Adele took Tammy for an outting and Setsuko had her first attempt at Inter 1 on Ralphy and showed promise. We now look foreward to next weekend with some more hill cottage riders competing.	view more photos (facebook)

The Hill Cottage Dressage Team, had a great weekend,at Vic Dressage clubs Champs,at Werribee at the weekend. Charlotte rode Dunkerque abd won Int 11,and placed 4th in Grand Prix. Charlotte also rode Sue wests ,Ramses..Ramses was very scared of the showjumping,but pulled himself together for a win and a 4th in the advanced Championship. Saxon Marwin and Scottie had 2 3rds and a 4th in the novice championship. Setsuko and Ralphy,also went out,and again they did a great test, and are improving every time. Next comp for Saxon and Scottie is the National Pony Club Championship at Werribee, in a few weeks.For everybody else its Boneo Park in Oct.

21 Aug 2011 - Setsuko and charlotte went to compete at beautiful Boneo Park,at the weekend. Setsuko competed PSG on Don Armani, and did a great test,for a personal best score of 60.9%. Charlotte did grand prix on Dunkerque,and did a god test for a score of 59.3%. On sunday Charlotte and Dunkerque did INT 11,but had to retire,as Dunkerque was upset,by something in his ear. They are now looking forward to compete at Werribee in a few weeks time. Setsuko was groom for the weekend,and did a great job. Here quirky is getting ready for Grand Prix.

8 Aug 2011 The Hill Cottage Team , had a successful weekend. Setsuko Mieeke on Don Armani started the weekend of,with a good test, after not having competed for a year. Congratulation to Saxon Marwin and Royal Ascot,who blitzes the novice field,by winning with 72%, and also placed 8th in Elementary. Dunkerque did his first Grand Prix,which he did with ease,and showed a lot of potential for the future. Both days he placed 2nd,to Fiona Mcnaught on Ostra. Getting the first comp of the season,out of the,we now are all looking forward to future competitions..
Congratulations Charlotte for being named "COACH OF THE YEAR" for 2011 We all know how hard you work and how much you deserve it.
The Hill cottage dressage Team,is starting there dressage season, this weekend 6-7 aug, at Werribee park. The team of Charlotte,and Dunkerque is doing there debut at Grand Prix,Setsuko Miieke and Don Armani, is competing P.S.G, after a little break from competing, And Saxon Marwin on Royal Ascot is competing novice, elementary,to get ready for the National pony club Champions ship in sept.
Come To Me - on the come back trail. Is now swimming a few times a week, to get him fit for,when he gets back to competing. (Pic) come to me is getting fitter in the pool.
Adele plumridges horse Pepper (Groove) has been sold to Joe Collier from Macedon. We wish Joe and Pepper all the best,and look forward to see them out competing.

Back fro Denmark Charlotte has just returned from a trip to Denmark, to see her family.Which she really enjoyed,especially,the long evening,where you can sit outside,and it's still daylight at 11 pm!! She also managed to get a bit of horsey stuff in.Went to PSI in Hagen,to look at horses for a client.There she also caught up, with good friend, and owner of Come To Me, Susannah Clarke. Looked at some stunning horses,and they were all beautifully presented,and lovely to ride.Ulf Müller,from PSI,and known from DWTS,made both Susannah and Charlotte very welcome. It's a very nice and easy place,to look for horses,as they have horses for any budget. Charlotte is now getting back into work,with Come To Me, which they both enjoy,and she is getting Dunkerque into shape, as they are planning there 1st Grand Prix start. Hope he looses some weight before that !!!	Come to me at work Dunkerque at work
